Artist Biography

Tatiana Ojjeh is a Saudi-European artist and designer based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with a multidisciplinary portfolio reflecting a practice of almost 20 years.

With a Bachelor of Fine Art from Parsons School of Design in New York and a Master of Fine Art from Chelsea College of Art and Design, University College of Arts London, Tatiana’s oeuvre includes watercolor, ceramics, sculpture and most recently, textile design. Influenced by poetry, especially the works of Rumi and Khalil Gibran, Tatiana’s work reflects her identity as a Middle Eastern-European woman and mother, leaning into themes of femininity, plurality, transcendence and touching the divine, as she seeks to create projects that draw audiences into her own tender world of whimsy.

Tatiana is the founding director of ARTLINER, collaborating with leading international artists to deliver aviation convention art exhibitions and urban regeneration projects for international and local audiences.

Through her lifestyle brand MAISON CHOUPISSON, she also offers bespoke consultation services in luxury interior design, home styling and products.

Voyages—Tatiana’s premiere collection of hand-tufted carpets by artisans from Jaipur Rugs—will be presented at Dubai’s prestigious art district Alserkal Avenue from May 15 to 21, 2024. This special event will be supported by Le Petit Marché Home Furnishings.
